Easy and inclusive assessment for Primary Schools
Most mainstream infant, junior or primary schools today include pupils with a mixture of abilities. This means teachers are faced with the challenge of tracking each pupil’s individual progress, which can vary significantly across a class of 30 children.
Primary schools need to be able to assess progress effectively across EYFS (for Reception), Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 of the National Curriculum, as well as for pupils working below Age Related Expectations. This also needs to be communicated to parents in a meaningful way to increase parental engagement, crucial for the positive impact it is known to have on educational outcomes.
